So if you're a young up and coming cinematographer or videographer you definitely have come across Daniel Schiffer's Epic Handheld B Roll style and in camera transitions.
His work is incredibly inspiring and is up there with other YouTube greats like Peter McKinnon for some of the smoothest and beautiful shots that also teach you a ton about how you can make better content online.
I am fascinated by the beauty of this form of storytelling and really wanted to bring people behind the scenes on some of the lessons we learnt looking to replicate Daniel Schiffer's video style and well let's just say I am absolutely blown away by the results.
We aren't nearly as good as he is but the simple fact that he puts out this epic content has definitely inspired me to push the limits of my own storytelling capacity as well as my ability to plan, execute and create a shoot that looks amazing.
My goal is to share insights from these types of shoots from less of the technical camera movement and editing perspective and more so from the storytelling side of what makes a video so powerful for people and brands.
