As I’ve got older, I’ve started to think more deeply about my journey. I start to review my life, looking at where I’ve come from, how I got here and then I wonder where I am going next…
As entrepreneurs it’s important to look back on our journeys and see how far we’ve come, what successes we have had and what failures also.
I was thinking about this the other day and thought what two pieces of advice would I tell my younger self if I could speak to him now.
Firstly, I would say, you must be patient. Things will happen for you. It’s not a race. You’ll get to where you need to be, but first you must learn and understand the process.
Second, just focus on myself. Rather than focusing on what everyone else around you is doing, just focus on yourself.
Do what you want to do and focus on being consistent with that.
