How can we transcend our seemingly automatic worrying, self destructive, untamed mind? In this video, weight loss guru, Lily Hills, teaches us how to transcend that habitual mind and step into our “tamed mind:” the mind our highest, most divine selves.
What is the nature of the mind?
It’s much like a computing system — your brain is the hard drive and your mind is the software. Within these two components, we store all of our valuable data.
We have tens of thousands of thoughts running through our mind every day, and here’s the kicker: 90% of those thoughts are subconscious. Even more, 90-95% of those thoughts are the same ones you were thinking the day before.
Moral of the story: our thought patterns are habitual, and mostly unrecognized.
The sad part of this story is that most of us are using the “untamed mind” operating system. You know, that mind the feels like a “drunk money that’s been stung by a bee.” The seemingly inherent, constantly on-the-run mind that makes you feel regret about the past, worry about the future, judge yourself, judge others, and so on.
